Mongolian Beef

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs flank steak, thin cut
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • oil for deep frying
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 bundle green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. Cut steak into thin strips.
  2. Fill a small bowl with 1/2 cup cornstarch. Coat in pieces of steak in cornstarch.
  3. Fry steak in deep fryer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. In large saucepan, combined all other ingredients except green onion.s.
  5. Cook over medium-high heat until boiling.
  6. Add steak and green onions.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve over white rice.
